Redhill Lawn Tennis Club was established in 1879 and was one of the first clubs to be formed in the country. Today the club has developed into a thriving
tennis centre with a very active and friendly membership. Currently membership totals over 200 adult and 250 junior members, and we are now an LTA accredited
mini tennis centre. We have excellent playing facilities with 8 courts (3 floodlit) and 2 mini tennis courts.

Open Day 2009
Please come and join us on our Open Day which will take place on 19th April 2009. We aim to organise a fun day for young and old.
Juniors are welcome in the morning session between 9.30 am and 12.20 pm. Our junior organiser and club coach will be on hand to answer any questions and to organise some fun sessions.
Adults are welcome from 2 pm where they can join in and play with the club members of all standards and pick up a few handy hints and tips from the club coach.

SPECIAL DISCOUNTS WILL BE OFFERED FOR THOSE JUNIORS, ADULTS OR FAMILIES WHO JOIN ON THE DAY.
Let there be Light!
Alan Mills may well stop play at Wimbledon each year due to bad light, but he would have his work cut out at Redhill Tennis Club. We have recently been granted permission from the Council to provide floodlights
on an additional court (as well as the artificial grass lights recently installed).
When this is installed it will enable play until 10.00 pm on 5 courts out of 8, Monday to Friday.
This will greatly enhance the club facilities for all members.
Entry lists for the this years tournaments will be posted throughout the year in the clubhouse.
Please enter, as it is a good way to meet other members and improve your tennis. Tournaments are open to all standards of play. You might surprise yourselves and even become a club champion
Tim Wilkinson joined the club in 1993. He is a CCA Licenced coach and is retained by the
Club. Tim offers coaching to all levels from minis/juniors to club team players. with an extensive range of activities on an individual or group basis
throughout the year.
