| Mens Singles Joe Reddick (-40) beat Tim Offen
(-30), 6-2, 6-2 Familiar doubles partners who have played against each
other a number of times. This exciting match was won my Joe under a
very clear sky and rather nice sunshine. |

| Ladies Singles Amy Barclay (-15) beat Heather
Taylor (-40), 6-1, 0-6, 6-5
Amy and Heather went head to head in the open final in July but Amy
managed to win this time with the help of a handicap. The match was
long, but very enjoyable.

| Mens Doubles Joe Reddick & David Whitwick
(-40) beat Tim Burns & Howard Kemble (15/30), 6-0 6-2
Although the match was a little one-sided, it was good to see young
rising stars in Tim and David fight their corner. |

| Ladies Doubles Clarissa Baly & Fiona Swann
(-30) beat Wendy Jeavons & Carolyn Westcott (0), 6-2, 6-5
Fiona played with a nasty wound to her hand, sustained two days
before the final. The pair played to win the match although Wendy
and Carolyn fought hard in the second set. This was Fiona's last match
before leaving for a new life in Australia. |

| Mixed Doubles Mixed Doubles – Joe Reddick &
Clarissa Baly (-40) , beat Ian Lewtas and Nicky Ponsford (-15/30) , 6-2
2-6 6-0
An enjoyable encounter that started in sunshine and ended under flood
lights. It was the second final of the day for Clarissa and the third
for energetic Joe.
It was an exciting finale to a lovely day an excellent standard of
tennis played by everyone involved. |
