 The Redhill
Lawn Tennis Club are proud to announce the award of Sport England's
National coveted Clubmark accreditation.
The club have worked hard for over a year to meet all of the
stringent requirements to attain this charter status.
Issie Beesley the Surrey LTA Tennis Development Officer visited the
club on Wednesday the 22nd July 2009 and presented the award personally
to John Roberts, Chairman of the club.
John was joined by Derek Avery (our Men’s Club Captain and Clubmark
Coordinator), Tim Wilkinson (our Club Coach) and his assistants Ollie &
Eloise together with many of the children they coach.
What is Clubmark?
Clubmark is a sport wide quality accreditation scheme for clubs with
junior sections. It is built around a set of core criteria which ensure
accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent and adopted operating
standards with clubs providing a high quality welcoming environment for
young participants in particular but all ages as well.
